Just looking if anyone has any experience with them. Looking to buy an SCT tuner and they are running a special on American Muscle with three custom tunes. I previously had a lund tune on an old mustang, but they don't appear to be offering any combo deals at this time. Anyone have any experience with them and what tunes they got from them? My mods are going to be a JLT intake and longtube headers with eventually switching to a flexfuel tune. The flexfuel tune I will obviously use a more reliable tuner like Lund. Thanks in advance.

Also it's for a 2019 GT.

Tuner and tune. Skip the cai especially if planning on running a flex tune as stock will have smoothest maf and keep iats down.

talk to Torrie@Unleashed instead. If he doesn't have a current sale he just might whip one up for you. He's done that for me in the past.

I'll be in philly in a couple weeks if you haven't heard a Borla Street with Steeda H-pipe. LTH is imo a very expensive answer to a non-question. And you can drive my Unleashed-tuned car if it tickles your fancy.

I thought I had a problem with never sleeping. I've gotten tune revisions and emails from Torrie at 3am EST a time or two.

They are one of the best values out there. They are pretty respected in the truck community. I used them on a first gen Coyote F150. The truck ran stock like but had a noticeable power band starting at 3500 RPM. That was a fun part of the tune. I could hit 3/4 throttle, when the engine hit 3500 it would knock the tires off.

My only complaint with them is their auto trans tuning. They shift out of 1st too quick and set the downshift points the same as the up-shift. If you have an auto you may need a revision or 2. Thiss was on the A6.

They have or had very good customer service. Always got back with me within a few hours to a day if I could not get my tuner on the phone when I called.

I have a 5 Star 93 Oct tune on my 2019 F-150 2.7 EcoBoost. Other then having some misfire code issues, the tune is great. The issue seems to be added boost and needing a cooler plug.

They couldn't get my 17GT with an 18 manifold to run properly after 4 revisions. Car got worse with each revision. Stopped communicating after the 4th attempt. Went with Lund who had car dialed in with first try.

5- star is pretty good with the ecoboost trucks, but they aren't really known for the Mustang tuning. Their customer service isn't the greatest. Very hard to get someone on the phone and it takes them forever to return calls/emails. Revisions can take 1-2 weeks. I can't speak for Torrie's (Unleashed) ability to tune Mustangs, but I can say without a doubt that no tuner offers better customer service and turnaround times.

Torrie is ACE in my book. Tuned my EB, GT, and F150 and SS. I hope he lives forever.

With 5 Star you can get 3 tunes 93, 87, E85 with a gt350 manifold for 145.

If you don't like the tune you are not out much money. I don't really like any E mail tune but 5 star was a decent tune. If I was in SC I would let them dyno tune my current car, as long as I could watch. That is true of any tune shop however, me watching.
