Is 2 Year Run on the Mach 1 Confirmed??

It's probably not officially out there but is it pretty solid that the Mach 1 will be produced for these last two years? I am looking to buy but want to hold off to see if they will open up the palette for a Rapid Red selection if at all possible. Also, due to covid does anyone know if this will be a short run for 2021MY and a "normal" run for 2022MY.....provided there is a 2022 model?

I wouldn’t assume 2022 will be normal. Could be. But there’s still lots of Karen’s out there wanting you to wear 10 masks over your face and shut the economy down further so interruptions on the supply side are going to still be a thing going forward I bet. I certainly wouldn’t bet against a return of some type of restrictions that screw up production

I was informed by dealer that MACh1 stock availability is very limited for this year, that pre orders are pretty much taking up all production. So I'm confident they will produce next year.

The bright side is that if it is a 2 year model run, Ford should have the 2021 build and price up By the time the ‘22 cars are delivered.

I’m wondering if fighter jet gray gray will be a one year color, replaced by something else for 2022, possibly grabber blue? On one hand the effort into creating an appearance package specifically for fjg makes me think it will stick around. But grabber blue and lead foot were 1 year runs on the Shelby so it’s not like Ford hasn’t done one and done with a color before.

I think its a safe bet there will be a '22MY Mach 1.

The '21MY is going to be shorter than usual. Normally we'd have expected Job 1 around late September/early October 2020, but it was pushed back to Jan 4th 2021. However, the attached was shown to dealers signing up to the GT500 program and show's '22MY cars are expected from October this year.
