I have a 2015 Eco Boost convertible, premium, with a little over 102,000 miles. It is an auto. When driving I will occasionally get a message that was states "hill start assist is not available" Vehicle did not come with hill start assist. Also, when I put the vehicle in sport, track, snow/wet mode it will kick me back to normal after driving for a while. If I turn the traction and stability control off it will turn it back on after driving for a while.
I have no check engine lights, no ABS lights, nothing showing a malfunction.
I thought maybe wheel bearing. However, I changed the front wheel bearing on the passenger side about 8 thousand miles ago and no issues have came up. I checked both front wheel bearings yesterday. No play, no noise, no grinding, no weird noises. I kind of figured if it was the wheel bearing I replaced issues would have came up miles ago. Car drives good. nothing out of the ordinary. Any ideas or anyone who has dealt with this issue please some advice and or direction would be greatly appreciated.
