and he was short-shifting/seemingly babying the car (I just mean that he wasn't really pushing the car)Yeah, this one was posted in the Goodwood thread and a couple of us tried to figure out what time the run was (somewhere between 68 and 72 seconds).
Totally agree. He didn't push it anywhere near as hard as he could have. I suspect it would be a < 60s run with someone pushing it.and he was short-shifting/seemingly babying the car (I just mean that he wasn't really pushing the car)
why post a re-hosted version of the official video that was already posted?
Who would want to be on record as the first driver to crash a 2015 Mustang?and he was short-shifting/seemingly babying the car (I just mean that he wasn't really pushing the car)
you'd think a trained professional driver could handle it...Who would want to be on record as the first driver to crash a 2015 Mustang?
Know why? Because Ford PR told the driver to not go all-out.Totally agree. He didn't push it anywhere near as hard as he could have. I suspect it would be a < 60s run with someone pushing it.
I'm not seeing where I asked a question, or that anyone else really did for that matter. All that was stated was that the car wasn't pushed to its limit by the driver. Personally, I thought it was pretty obvious why it wasn't, although it was still a shame. By pushing it to the limit and posting a good time, the competition would have an idea what this thing can do well before anyone else.Know why? Because Ford PR told the driver to not go all-out.
Happy? Waiting for ten more people to ask the same exact question.
