Interesting read indeed. Almost seems like the author wanted to write about the wage gap but needed it to be auto related :D Being 25, I can definitely relate to some of things the article says, I've never bought a new car (mostly I choose to buy CPO, depreciation reasons..) and before the mustang I WAS the guy that almost ended up in a 'fun' car but ended up with a Camry instead. Side note @samd1351, we have the same car? lol 17 MM Premium PP with Power Pack 2 installed, even down to the nickel PP wheels!

Sweet! I wasn't a big MM fan, but the redline interior sold me. Looking back, I'm not sure I'd buy another color combo.

Yeah, the "wage gap" must be stopping young people from buying sports cars. Jeff Bezos took all the money so we cannot get rich, yeah, yeah.

Cars are not a thing for a majority of the Uber crowd and city dwellers. Socialist states and leftist cities make owning a car cost prohibitive, between taxes, registration, $4 dollar a gallon urban gas, a lack of parking, $50 dollar parking tickets, car prowlers, sky high insurance and in Chicago, towing companies make tens of millions simply stealing cars off the streets for being, "illegally parked" and then either filing for new titles or charging $250 a day in fees to owners who want them back. I can see how the shine is off the automobile. Honestly, would you on street park your Mustang GT overnight in Brooklyn? or Portland?

As far as a wage gap, imagine how wealthy some people would be if they cooked at home and drank domestic beer. If you took the $6,500 they spent on tattoos and invested it then contributed their beard wax/nose ring budget to it monthly, they would be creating personal wealth and narrowing the gap with the evil rich.
