I hear ya but there is risk and you would have to fight I am sure. Wasn't worth it for me as I have experienced a blown engine. My service manager had the engine delivered in 3 days and installed in 2. Great service so I trust what he said.If a Ford dealer installed it, there would be no way for that to ever be a warranty revocation. It's a much more robust part and doesn't affect the durability of any other components in a negative way. That would be one to fight (with Ford and their CSO engineers, and you'd win).
