While the winter weather closes in on the Great Lakes region, there might be the possibility to have a centralized gathering within a few hours driving distance from some of the key cities with easy access to the I75/I71 corridor.
Please post here if you would like to do this. This would require being able to plan around fast changing weather conditions.
If this doesn't work, I also am planning to attend a number of events next year that involve the Mustang. I would be happy to organize Mustang6g group activities here.
1) North American International Auto Show (Detroit, MI) - January 17-25, 2015; expect to see the GT350 in person
2) Fords Nationals at Carlisle (Carlisle, PA) - June 5-7, 2015; an excellent large gathering of Ford vehicles, most likely one of the first time we could see many new 2015 owners together in one show field
3) Mustang Alley/Woodward Dream Cruise (Ferndale, MI) - August 14-15, 2015; a premiere time for getting to talk with Ford people directly affiliated with Mustang
4) Mustang Club of America 2015 Buckeye Grand National Show (Columbus, Oh) - September 3-6, 2015; largest MCA national show for 2015
I think there is also something being hosted for Mustang owners at the Indy Motor Speedway next year during the summer. I will let folks know when I confirm that.
I welcome any feedback on interest or other suggestions.
