I explained to Nardi exactly what I had in mind....tuner kit, 103mm TB, DW95 injectors, BAP and 6 rib 3.25 pulley with stock balancer. He said I would be looking at around 10 PSI and estimated whp in the low 600s on 93. I made it clear that I wanted to retain stock shift points....7300-7400.

I would expect this combo to create a high 10 second car on DRs in decent air.....which is my goal.

Using a stock balancer?
No sir, this is achieved using the Edelbrock supplied 15% lower. If you decide on going the Edelbrock route, we can do a 6 rib kit with the stage 2 TB and Air Induction system. The system would have to be custom tuned. But a 3.75 pulley on stock balancer is around 6-7psi if you were wondering.

That HP seems a bit low for that set-up. but if only pulling it to 7400 I would say probably around 660whp.

He might have been under-promising so they could over-deliver. I also told him that OEM drivability and reasonable engine safety was important to me. With that in mind, they might not push the timing as high to maintain more engine safety.

I wouldn't have a calibration done by anyone else!

Just to chime in on whp with the edelbrock stage 2 with 6 rib.. my car made 710whp with a 3.0” pulley on e85 with long tubes. That was thru a10 with pp1 rims and et ss drag radials in 6th gear pbd tune. My boost gauge says 10psi with a griptec pulley. Vegas has bad air tho.

that’s exactly the same as what beef cakes YouTube page posted with the same setup and ran 9 something. I don’t think the eb makes the same peak hp as whipple

Sounds impressive

I’m not gonna run LT’s, I won’t remove my cats nor will I run E85, I may add some octanium to my 93 at the track or have Lund make me a MS109 tune but I would be happy with 620-630RW on 93

If you aren’t someone who’s chasing more all the time or seriously into racing, you’ll be more then happy. The 2650 almost makes too much torque. 600whp is approaching a power level that’s too much for surface roads and only usable above 50mph imo. Maybe I’m getting old

No your not, I’m 55 and I’ve had a few pretty fast cars in my life, we both know 600RW with a TQ curve like the EB makes for a fun experience. So for me a 600-630RW street car is plenty fast and will run easy reliable 10 Sec passes on a tire

In my area, we either have too much traffic or too many law enforcement officers to really use the kind of power we are talking about for more than a couple of seconds at a time. Venturing off into the countryside, we have the potential of hitting deer or, worse yet, a farmer on his tractor.

That is why I do most of my playing at the strip. And yes, I am older than both of you.
