I'm in the process of installing the SLR 18+ kit with fuel rails. A little confused on how to set up all the fittings on the rails. There wasn't any instructions.
I attached a picture of what it came with. There is another separate bag with fittings, but I think those go with the regulator/return lines.

Also which wires are you supposed to splice/tap for the fuel pumps? Is it any different for 18'+?

Thanks!

Any tips on which wires to splice and/or tips you picked up on the wiring portion?

Ok so this is what I put together from just the pieces in the bag and off that picture...isn't one of the lines supposed to go to the regulator?
Also looks like I'm missing one silver plug for the top hole on the passenger side rail.
Does the factory fuel pressure sensor go onto the fuel pressure regulator? There's no where to install on it on the slr rails.

The fuel pressure sensor is not 1/8th NPT like that extra port you have on passenger side, nor will the wiring reach that far. You'd have to cut and extend the wires and you would need a adapter to adapt the 1/8 port to the fuel pressure sensor. And yes you need the sensor, you cannot delete it. Also, That plumbing doesn't look right. Bc it has the OE 3/8th connection, but the OE line won't reach the back driver side of rail, almost looks like you need to cross over in the rear, and put that smaller 90 wit the adapter in the front, then figure a way out to connect to the OE hose?

You try contacting Sai or who ever sold you the rails? Maybe see if they can send you a picture of those rails in a 18 car?

Does the factory fuel pressure sensor go onto the fuel pressure regulator? I don’t see a place to put it on the rails.

The only way I can see you can put the sensor on is to buy a adapter to allow you to use that spare port on the passenger side or the port on the regulator where the gauge normally goes, both of those require you to cut and extend the wires bc the factory sensor won't reach far from it's original location.

The regulator will be 1/8npt also.

Just find out what thread pitch and size the rail pressure sensor is and adapt it to the 1/8 port on the rail.

Hint.. it’s probably metric lol.

Sai Li said this is the correct way to set up the rails. Yep you’re right Kona, the pressure sensor is supposed to go into the empty npt port.
And the harness does needs to be cut and extended...
