I do agree with you that the new auto trannys are much more efficient and faster shifting for sure hands down. For me it's just a personal preference
As far as old cars only going fast in a straight line I beg to differ, stock yes true but I have a 10sec 72 Camaro with a pro touring chassis that loves the track!

Thanks, the hood is composite the fenders are aluminum and the cost of buying 500 fenders is outrageous(over 1800) a side. I'm in process of tiging up the gap now. I have done this process on a few old aluminum bodied Jaguars in the past. It's just time consuming but I'm getting there
Did I read '72 Pro-touring Camaro underneath your avatar?!?!
Like mini-tubbed, big brake kit, 345's out back, and huge power modern day LSx?!?!

I’m rocking an MT82 myself, at least until US Shift makes their 10R80 controller. Lumbar and SI joint failures make it a pain to shift. Literally.

Sooo excited to see this! I always thought the GT500 hood wouldn't match up to the fender curve or something. If it's some minor body work only I'm definitely doing this.

GT500 hood, 2019+ radiator support, hood pins, GT500 Strut bar, engine lowering mounts(?) = CJ intake

why anybody try to put different than original body part on GT350 is beyond me. A whole point of GT350 it's uniqueness and mixing this car with other parts is to ruin it. Why don't you just buy GT500?
I'm so glad you popped in here to let the OP know he's dumb. I bet he's reconsidering his life choices now!
