Last Sunday I installed the blank rear deck lid or tail light panel (whatever you call it) and the Roush spoiler. Overall the install was easy but very time consuming, since I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

The deck lid took less than 30 minutes to install. This mod was hard to justify because its $140 to just remove the "GT" badge. Now that its on I feel like it was money well spent. I hate that plastic chrome stuff.

The spoiler took a couple hours, I checked and triple checked everything since drilling into metal isn't easily fixed. Reaching some bolts was a huge pain in the ass, but overall something easy enough to do yourself.

Your guard is what kind of convinced me since mine is magnetic, close enough! lol

Now im debating to install it myself or pay to have it done.

Keep me updated on your installation. I have a Magnetic as well and considering the spoiler.

Did you guys order pre-painted Roush spoilers?

I can't decide between the Roush and the CDC spoiler. RPI is offering the CDC now pre-painted: http://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=5118

I'm also thinking about a blank tail light panel, but painted body color.
Ya I ordered the pre-painted spoiler, and the color match is pretty damn close to being perfect.

I prefer the Roush spoiler since it comes off the back of the trunk vs the top. It matches the cars lines and in some angles makes the car look longer.

I ordered mine painted black from roush. You can do any color to match the car.

I thought something looked a little "off" compared to the CDC I had seen elsewhere. I read (elsewhere) that RPI would be selling the CDC's pre-painted. So, I assumed... Anyway, thanks for the clarification. ;)

Magnetic that's the RPI spoiler, not the CDC. Just throwing it out there.

Dang you guys... I have been trying my best to not spend any money on anything cosmetic yet. Been holding out on this spoiler for a while, just ordered now :frusty:

Does the Roush spoiler bolt into the factory holes of a car that came with a spoiler?
