Weld in set of J-pipes roughly 24 inches long. Look up Helmholtz resonator to see what im talking about.

In short, this. Its related to resonance/pressure, not a volume issue.

Anyone know what resonators folks use with a 3" exhaust. I would love to pull of these dynomaxs' and try a resonator in there.
