There is a variation between the same colour anyway. My Ruby red Mondeo (Fusion) built in Spain was parked next to an Edge built in USA today and both were technically the same colour - they were very different in reality with the Edge being quite a bit darker.

Ford needs to bring Lightning Blue back as it looks better than Velocity and even more so Ford Performance Blue. I don't get Ford Performance's desire to have a grey blue that looks more at home on an 80's Escort than a high performance sports car. The only time Ford Performance Blue looks good is at night as sunlight really washes it out.

I couldn't agree more. Still probably my favorite color.

I did the same with the AE on the EB. I really wanted it, but color was more important than the exhaust. Now, I’ll try to retrofit it during the summer.

Really^, I see a few race red in my coastal bend area, but very few Ruby reds. I have seen 1 other in 3 years now.

Honestly, good riddance to Need for Green. Never was a fan of that color at all... greatly preferred GHIG.

I love Ruby Red (it was REAL close between that and Kona, but Kona looked better with the red Recaros), but this new red also looks interesting. Can't wait to see the new colors in person!

Mine is Race Red, but I really liked the way the Ingot Silver showed the lines of the car. Hopefully the new silver will look just as good.

We've seen Iconic Silver and Red Hot metallic on the GT500 press shots. Both look very close to the existing colours, and I suspect you'd need to see them parked side by side to really tell a difference (like between Lightning Blue and the new Velocity Blue).

(the blue here is Ford Performance Blue.....a '19 GT350 only colour, so I assume it'll be limited to the GT500, too)

Dealership by me had a FP Blue GT350 outside. It's way better in person
