According to newest informations from european dealers, the following colors are discontinued for MY2020 (production June 2019):
  • Ingot Silver
  • Ruby Red
  • Orange Fury
  • Need for Green
But as a reminder, we know the following colors appear in the GT500 brochure:
  • Grabber Lime
  • Iconic Silver
  • Red Hot Metallic
  • Twister Orange

So it seems like Ford is removing colors that are kind of redundant to the new ones

Good info, thank you.

Lets hope all those new colours from the GT500 brochure are available on the GT/Ecoboost.........there are doubts on Grabber Lime (at least specifically for the GT500......in a video with the designer, he was guarded on that particular colour.

Ruby Red would have been gone a few years ago if it was not such a great color. OF & NFG lasted as normal for specialty colors.

Grabber Blue survives another year.

Ahh, I was thinking of trading mine in for a 2020 in the same color. I hope the new silver looks good.

Wow, I'll have to keep mine in really good shape then. Maybe it'll hold its value better with a limited color.

Ruby is the best color on these cars when clean w/o a doubt. Mistake getting rid of it. Will have to see how red hot metallic looks, but that Ruby tri-coat is very special.

Yeah I wonder how much different "iconic" silver will look.

Agreed! But I’m ready to quit seeing so many other ones on the road. I want the only one!

Seeing the colors available on the 2020 Explorer looks like Ford is getting rid of Ruby Red and Ingot Silver a cross the board.

We've seen Iconic Silver and Red Hot metallic on the GT500 press shots. Both look very close to the existing colours, and I suspect you'd need to see them parked side by side to really tell a difference (like between Lightning Blue and the new Velocity Blue).

(the blue here is Ford Performance Blue.....a '19 GT350 only colour, so I assume it'll be limited to the GT500, too)

That green didn't last very long. Sort of sad to see OF go. I hope the new orange is a tri-coat of some sort.
