One thing I have learned from all these posts is that there may be thousands who have a 6 speed manual Mustang with rev matching and they don't even know they have it unless they push the engine to the limit and slam the gear lever into position. How will I prove to Bikeman 315 my to be built Mustang will have a rev matching trans.
When you push the stick into the gate for a lower gear the car will rev... I think you're mistaking no lift shift for rev matching. Rev matching just blips the throttle to sync up the engine and transmission speed on a downshift. Only on a downshift. Real world scenario: I'm making a right turn. I clutch in and put the car in neutral as I brake, I clutch in and move the stick into second. As soon as the stick enters the gate, the engine will rev and create a smooth downshift that doesn't stress the transmission and drive train. Nothing is being pushed to the limit.

Good to know there are more PP2 cars in owners hands. Congrats . Has anyone else bought a PP2 or recently ordered one and are waiting for it to be produced ?

Production (2020s) should be pretty much over by now, no? But even if not yet, 2020 ordering for sure is over.

I am sure the PP2 will be available for the 2021 MY. They didn't stop PP1s when the PP2 was offered.

I am LOVING it so far! Need to do that first oil change (I went with Amsoil and will be doing myself). Have a whole latta parts to install over the winter for next seasons racing! :)

PP2 is stopping b/c the Mach 1 is out. Basically it is an improved PP2 at least that is what I understand

Apples and oranges. One‘s a model, the other a handling option. The Mach 1 should not impact the PP2. We should know soon, I hope. :)

Maybe not available in Canada because it is cold up there and too late in year for Summer tires.

better get a set of winter wheels and tires ready. Below 50 F, those Cup 2 need a warm up before they stick and act a little like riding on ice when cold. Below 40 and it is time to have winter tires on. Also, they should be stored in a warm area. They can crack in cold temps.

I tend not to wait for 40F. Once we start getting temps regularly dipping below 50 for a low i put my winter set on my PP2.
