Imagine My Surprise

..when I got a call from my salesman who said,

"We have a delivery date!"

I about fell out of my chair. An odd thing though and the main reason I am posting this info is because my scheduled build week is 10/21 but the delivery date is:

10/17!

As of this writing, I have not yet received a screen shot of this info from the dealer but my salesman said they would be sending it, hopefully today.

If this is true, it kind of throws another wrench into an already confusing system. BUT, I do hope that others learn that they will be getting their vehicles sooner than they thought.

I won't believe it until I see something from the dealership but my salesman was quite certain that the information was legit.

Have you went to the Ford site and put your VIN to see if they have updated it. Probably still a little early for window sticker but delivery of 10/17 my guess would be a build week of 10/7. Link below

Jeff: Yes, I did go to the tracking site but as of yesterday, it hadn't changed and still shows a 10/21 build week. If/when this changes, I'll let y'all know and ditto for the sticker.

That is the same build week as me! God that would be great to get it that early so I can get some driving in before winter.

Seems the salesman miscommunicated the info from allocation and the REAL word is...

The car will be BUILT on 10/17, not DELIVERED. I knew that was too good to be true BUT, it does appear that I moved up a build week.

This is all soo confusing. I had a 9/23 build week, 9/24 build day. Bumped to 10/7 week, no day yet. how the F do they bump 2 weeks worth of builds, but everyone else on those original days stays the same

Chill: No window sticker as yet. You might wanna call your salesman and have him check to see if they received the same sort of notice, i.e., a build date, for your vehicle. I was totally surprised to get the call.
