The 2021 MY order guide says that Illuminated glove box is no longer available. I just took a delivery of 2021 GT premium convertible and that's one hundred percent true. The glove box remains dark as hell. This is unfortunate, especially when driving at night. Illuminated glove box would remain one of the things I'll be missing from my 2019 GT.

I hardly believe Ford changed a lot electrically in 2021 comparing to previous years. Most likely, all the wiring and sockets remain in place. Maybe they just saved couple bucks on a lamp and a cord.

Can anyone confirm or disprove my suspicion? Any idea how one could make your own glove box "illuminated"? Thanks in advance!
Yep, on my 2019 they removed the second horn, and the one horn was embarrassing and just sucked. I replaced it.

Based on my 2020, we get more electronic seat adjustment (Recaro) than what the early euro (Recaro) cars got.

I think we lost the rear seat pocket though (Have the euro Recaro’s ever had that ?).

My starter button doesn’t ‘throb’.

I don’t ‘think’ the double horn was ever dropped on the euro’s ?

I ‘think’ euro GT’s (PP1) are still getting the MPSS4’s ?

Stock horn has two notes, low and high. For 2019 US cars Ford deleted the low tone to save $ but immediately put it back after people noticed and complained lol
They were two separate horns, One High Note and One Low Note.

Yes, everything other than the recline which is still on a lever.

Forward / back.
Up / down (height).
Up / down (base tilt).
In / out (lumber support - drivers only).

No heating or cooling and no memory.

Dang! I can do with the no heat/cool although I DID want it...but the all manual controls on mine really aggravates me. I wonder why we can't get power Recaros stateside?

Just market priorities and competition I think.

Charging us £1600 (or £1400 with a custom pack) for those seats, loosing the heating / cooling AND loosing the electric adjustability would be a real hard pill to swallow and a 20 year+ step back in technology.

Remember that the U.K. cars are ‘expensive’ compared to American equivalents and they are marketing these cars against high end BMW’s etc. The mustang (mostly) gets a hard time from the British car press and it’s the little things that the press would highlight and turn into a big issue ...

Doesn’t explain why you can’t get them electrified for an additional cost option though ... ?

That's my thinking also. I just assumed there wasn't a way to have power Recaros...but now I know it IS possible. Not sure why it isn't offered...or honestly why it isn't STANDARD. Who wants manual seats in a $50K+ USD vehicle?

Could've just bought one of these and been done with it. Or maybe this thread is to try to get Ford to reinstate the glove box light so you can then you can initiate a buy back for leaving it out in the first place!

Either way, I am thinking this should be combined with the funny meme thread. So I will go ahead and get it going.

They also took away the illuminated PRNDS on the shifter and switched to a single tone horn in 2019. Not sure why they do silly things like this.
