Check out these rubber grommets:

The fit is perfect. They look flimsy in the product picture, but they are not. Quite rigid, fit is very snug, no adhesive needed. They only extend 1/16" of an inch inwards from the groove, so they won't block you from getting as much camber as possible.

I used the Steeda strut tower cutting tool / 2.75" S550 hole saw, which I highly recommend:

So did you buy the package of 8? Wanna mail me two of them? Getting ready to do this soon... The Steeda strut tower cutting tool is already sitting on my workbench.

Another option is the fixture from Vorshlag. I used it. Worked great!

Sorry bud, my kids confiscated the remainder. Apparently they're perfectly sized hoola hoops for ponies and minecraft creepers.

I like to disassemble things.
So how much negative camber are you now running with the tower opened up?

I just buy a hole saw and turn a chunk of Delrin on the lathe. Pennies.

I think it will go around -3.6 to -3.9 or so (will check exactly later) just in case it's needed, doubt I'll need that much room but wanted it available just in case. I'll be starting at -3.3 next outing and will work up or down from there.

I am currently at -3.3 and have never even thought about cutting towers as I still have room to spare. Not sure why some have to do it and I don't (and yes, I am very very sure about measurements, calibrated Hunter rack in a race car place).

Do you have stock struts and stock strut bolts? Is the bolt hole on the knuckle slotted? What camber plates? Thx!

Stock struts (Magneride), knuckle is untouched, strut upper holes had 1 mm of material inboard removed (per the manual) which doesn't really give you much camber (that was before I installed camber plates) . Camber plates are Steeda. I can take a pic of how strut towers look tomorrow if you're interested.

Appreciate the info! No need for photo, since strut towers are stock and not modified.
