I think she was diagnosed when she was 14. She has a nerve condition called crps. It causes her nerves to be very painful at times. It has luckily not spread very much and her flare ups are pretty rare, letting her live a fairly normal life. But you always have the fear in the back of your mind that it will get worse and spread, especially when the flare ups happen.

Sheā€™s also had to give up hobbies she loved and Iā€™ve seen how hard that can be on someone.

I hope your condition will let you enjoy your life for years to come. It at least has to behave till you run a 7 lmao
Ah man I can only imagine being diagnosed at that age. That's one aspect I felt "lucky" for...although Im not old, I've lived a decent live. But thank goodness it's managed well on her end. I understand the fear of things getting worse; I can empathize. I have a little impatience with this build in the back of my mind with that thought along.

If I go downhill fast I'm towing this bitch up the road to the local tuner shop, paying to get it done and running, no if and's or buts :cwl:

Nitrous in, tank mounted. Doesnt look like Ill be able to keep the carpet unless I just butcher it. I'm going to have to run a square 5 gallon ice tank on the other side as the wheel well has the airlift motor and manifold, and I'd rather not reconfigure them, leaving a bunch of holes where the lines were ran. But hey...I figure if I'm adding weight, it'll be fairly equal and as far back as I can get it. Wont be running lines or wiring until the end of the build.

Starting pulling out the interior. ETA on engine internals is 1.5-2 weeks. Got some tint in so will get that done probably this weekend. Slowly but surely.

Also....if anyone runs fathouse fabs cage and reads this....could they shoot me a line? I'm worried about some of the bar placement in the back interfering with the air lift tank. I know it'll be close.

Aha I don't know if it's a norm YET. If I wasn't super type A and was willing to spend a stupid amount of money to hit it I'd be just fine with 8's. I admit I'm a little dumb for being set on that goal :cwl:
I mean the top 15 in the US are all 7's so it's coming more and more the norm. Midnight has a full 10 speed car with AC and all running high 7's.

Should be a fun build though. I thought I'd be happy with 9's but turns out goals are on a sliding scale šŸ˜‚

Lmao, exactly why I skipped 8's ahahah

I mean, at the same time...compare that to the number of 8 and 9 second cars. Dime a dozen in comparison.

So I ended up ordering some Hoosier 27.5 front runners bias ply's along with 30x10.5 Drag radials...however I think I'm going to go bias ply all around despite the auto.

Reasoning is I actually think the setup will be able to take at least 1700 wheel being sleeved...that, the nitrous off the hit, a g57 88mm turbo which should result in "good" spool times, 3.7 or 3.89 rear end, and the fact that the air suspension is subpar, I feel like radials would absolutely not bite as well as I'd like. I already had issues on my previous setup, albeit on an unprepped track.

Any big power auto guys have any advice?

The 30" tire will be tight. I run a 315/60R25 (29.9") ET Pro and they're VERY snug. That's on a 15x11 wheel with 8.5" backspacing to get it to tuck. Not sure what your wheel offset is, but I had to trim some of the inner fender liner away for clearance. I also had to run a T-Bar style upper shock mount to clear the wheel barrel. If you're looking to be successful on the street aside from 100 rolls, you may want to look into a weight bar too. every bit helps lol

Id go with at least a Callies crank and def radials.

Why radials? I noticed most of the serious street guys are running bias ply's.

Width. And yes AED knuckles.

I talk a little about some of the stuff on YouTube when I did the install.
