my thought is WHY THE HELL DOESN'T FORD JUST HAVE THIS "STOCK"????
it would cost them about +$75 at most at time of build....right????
They warranty what they sell, which is not a 700+hp hellcat. Why should they for a $30k base GT?

if installing yourself, very critical to follow the timing chain procedure to a t, even 1 tooth off is NO GOOD

Lund tuned my car he said I don't need it. I won't be installing it. I usually shift at 7300 hundred I'm ok with that. Not trying to be in the Guinness book. If it blows and when it blows. I'll have a 1000hp motor.

Good Thread daltron  In the furture I would also like to supercharge my car (Paxton, or Vortech). It helps to see the different opinions and experiences for people planning on the upgrade. :)

Thanks Matt, yeah we are all really blessed to have such a great site here. I really can't think of another site that has so many knowledgeable people and vendors who also are more than happy to share with us all.

I'm doing CG, OPG, and Damper on my NA build, but I'm also looking to push the RPM a bit.

Beef

Which is the best guide on how to do this, in your opinion?

I've seen quite a few threads. The main one being the SVTPerformance thread. There are a few.

Which do you guys think is most complete? I ask as I've seen a few back and forths about the proper timing setup that is supposedly different for 14/15/16 cars.

daltron I have a set of MMR OPG's NIB that I have no use for since I'm most likely going with an aluminator in the next few months. I can give you a good deal on them and give you a hand with the install since I'm local. I looked over the guide and I don't think it's anything we couldn't do in the garage over a weekend.

The 11:1 N/A shortblock I'm looking at says it comes with this pump:

Ford Racing M-6600-50CJ High Performance billet steel gerotor oil pump and Pickup tube

This would be the upgraded oil pump correct?

The engine isnt opened up for a cg or opg. Such drama.

This isnt an over hyped mod. Unless youre a gambling man with extra cash to burn to be okay with the car having down time.

For those with increased rpms the trio should be done. No way around it.
The front of the engine IS opened up. Also the OPG failure is not high RPMs. It actually boils down to crankshaft jerk. Let me give you an example. You are rowing through the gears at WOT and you are on a bumpy road. Your tire loses traction just enough when it hits a bump and begins to spin then when it regains traction violently slows down. Crankshaft jerk then happens. Slamming gears is another. Bouncing off the rev limiter is a dangerous one also as it causes crankshaft jerk.
