If I am adding Comp Cams for an NA build, does it matter what CAI I use??

As long as I pick an option that has increased airflow over stock. I am not sure what throttle body and CAI to consider to use on my 2017 GT with a ported 2018 intake manifold, comp stage 2 cams, and borla headers, lund tune.

Any that have a sealed box work best. GT350 CAI, Steeda closed box, heck even the 18+ intake tube and box are a big upgrade and would work well.

You'll be fine with the 18 manifold and the stock TB, both have made fantastic power through them. In regards to CAI's, we have several options available to choose from. Let me know if you are interested in going over a few setups at Lethalperformance.com

If you're doing cams, you might as well do a CJ manifold.

I'd have to lower the engine or cut the hood, wouldn't I? I wasn't too interested in that. I've been wondering if the CJ would cost too much on bottom end power to gain up top?

Unless you keep imrc function on the 18 mani. You'll lose low end

That's good to know. I had planned on not locking them out, but what about if I use the lockout?

Remove the vaccum pods and zip tie the levers or whatever they're called. Or spend 40 bucks on some fancy lock outs.

I had a GT350 mani on my 2015 and didn't notice any real loss down low, but I kept the imrc function.
