I know long tubes are a somewhat beat up topic, but not really anything for answers when searching such.

So to who have installed many sets of shop Guys/owners who have, which long tubes would you buy today based on fit first and finish and price after.

I have a 2015 Gt and I wasnt going to right now, but just did a full borla 3” catback and it’s not loud enough..lol

Not loud enough?!?!?! 😳 Yeah you definitely need some LTH’s with off-road connection and then it will be! I have 1 7/8 SP’s ( stainless power) on mine and as far as I know there were no issues with fit and they get the job done for around $850.

Looks seem to be hit or miss from the searching and the amount of money your paying

Stainless power ones seem to be a popular one

How are the BBK LT’s ?
Had many sets thru the years on foxbodies that always fit good

Swapping from stick system with muffler deleted
It’s quieter inside and not much louder inside
It eliminated the drone which I like. But I want more
😎

I went with LTH headers. Excellent quality and fitment.

Quality and fit hard to beat ARH or Kooks. But many other good choices just stay away from the 2M / ebay brands as fitment tends to be very hit or miss. Don't get me wrong occasionally a member on here scores a great fit at those prices but just not worth the gamble imo. Would always recommend a trusted, known good fit.

Stick with one of the major brands and you'll be fine. I went with Kooks and fitment was perfect.

I second the LTH brand headers. They look good and snugged up to the engine block perfectly.

Only potential issue I could see is the steering shaft sits pretty close to one of the tubes on mine. A lowered engine could potentially create issues and require stock height again. I also chose to put a heat blanket on my starter since, again, one of the tube is sitting about an inch away from it.

We sell ARH, Kooks, LTH, Stainless Works/Stainless Power, Texas Speed and many more here at www.lethalperformance.com. I would feel comfortable running any of those brands on my personal car. All are great options. Send me a message and I can get you taken care of and answer any questions you may have! #TEAMLETHAL

Generally, fit and finish with S550 headers follows the price point pretty closely. $1300-1700 headers tend to fit better than $500-800 headers. I went with ARH and absolutely no fitment issues. Also tucks in nicely under the car so it retains factory ground clearance.
