Hey all, so as I’m new to mustangs and mostly anything not made by BMW for that matter, I’m curious about the exhaust that is installed on my car. Now, I assume it’s all stock, but I am not 100% sure. I can see it’s made by Ford. What has me slightly curious though, is a few things. There are a handful of exhaust pipe clamps. On a BMW, you would see these if the exhaust was cut and a new piece installed, either as a repair or as a performance upgrade part. One side has two of them fairly close together which seems odd. The other thing that looked weird to me was the section to the rear of the center resonator, which is welded to the resonator, is noticeably less oxidized than everything forward of that. Just stood out to me. BMWs are one piece from the manifold to the tips and oxidize evenly, so that’s what I would expect from an unmodified exhaust. Anyway here’s some pics. I’m sure you will tell me it’s completely stock and that is how they all are, but just looking for confirmation.
