Iconic Silver GT500 pictures

I was so close to ordering this combo. Still might change my order from black stripes to white. If anybody comes across more pictures of this combo post them up!

Grey: I believe that's the first Iconic Silver car I've seen with white stripes and, my best guess is, those are painted stripes. Sure looks good.

A bit of a tease by Ford if it is painted stripes on a base model. Still bitter about that.

Technically, aren't painted stripes available on a base car? The so-called "Golden Ticket" is an allocation to order painted stripes and/or the CFTP option.

I think one could order a base car with the only option being painted stripes, so long as the dealer had the allocation for it. That is my understanding.

Keller: After taking a closer look at things, I'm now inclined to agree . What made me think they are painted is the most rearward hood pieces. On other vinyl cars, the stripes stop before the heat exchanger grill but on this silver car, it LOOKS like they continue on and down over the edge.

However, on the side nearest the wipers, it does appear that the stripes stop before the edge.

So, I'll give you the nod on vinyl.

Got this from the Ford site configurator.

Doubt that the tinted windows would be this dark on an actual GT.
Looks sharp.

Not sure if this would pass my state inspection. Also, they may frown on a tinted windshield :(

Hard to tell at that resolution and little contrast between silver and white. Can't tell if there is any telltale missing vinyl on some edges. Can you order side stripes if you order painted OTT?

You can get side stripes by themselves or with OTT vinyl stripes.
You can not get side stripes with OTT painted stripes.
