IAT Info for Lethal Performance's Gen 5 Whipple with a PNR Ice Tank

We got some solid data that we felt you guys would be interested in seeing. This data comes from our 2018 Mustang GT 10 Speed Auto with the Whipple Gen 5 3.0L Supercharger.

The car currently runs a 3.50" upper and 20% lower which should make close to the 20psi range.

Here's a log of the car when I went [email protected]. This is with the standard heat exchanger and pump that comes with the Stage 2 Whipple kit.

The next log is from last week when I went 8.98@150+. This was using the PNR Ice tank with just water in it. No Ice, No whipple reservoir and no whipple IC pump.

The last log is of my 8.97@151+ run. This is with the PNR tank with 2 10lb bags of ice in it. No Whipple reservoir or pump.

As you can see there's a bug difference in IAT2 temps from the standard Whipple setup to the PNR trunk mount tank and that the ice made an even bigger difference. The PNR tanks are super high quality, made here in the USA and are sold as the tank by itself or as a kit with the pump, hose and fittings for a complete install.

What level of tank setup is on the car?

Which pump?

5 or 7 gallon tank?

What size of AN fittings?

I'll go through the logs and reply with the ambient temps as soon as I have a moment. I know for a fact it was over 90degs when I went 8's but will make sure from the actual logs.

We're running the stage 4 setup with the EMP pump. The 7 gallon tank with the 16an feed and 12an return line.

Was the tune pulling timing on the 9.04 pass with ACT peaking at 130* ?

Is there any reason this wouldn't work on the "original" (gen2?) 2.9 Whipple on a '15 car?
Not at all. The ice tank setup will work on the 2.9L just the same. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I'll ask Lund Jr. and let you know if we pulled any timing. I don't believe it did but I'll verify.

Confirmed with Lund. No timing was pulled. Only if it reaches 150deg will it pull timing.
