If you aired down the rears a bit you probably would've dipped into the 12.4 range.

If you aired down the rears a bit you probably would've dipped into the 12.4 range.
1sr rt was very good.the 2nd not so good.may have cost you 0.4 sec.did you warm tires up.when I dragged my old 65 gto stock tri power car. an old timer gave me a tip on et times.when the light hits the last yellow say cheese to yourself and just go.id usually run .550to .6 ET on 4speed. in those days low,14s were great stock times

1sr rt was veryy good.the 2nd n it so good.may have cist you 0.4 sec.did you warm tires up.when I dragged my old 65 gto and old timer gave me a tip on st.when the light hits the last yellow say cheese to yourself and just go.id usually run .550to 6 on 4 a.in tjospeed in this fays lowv14s were great stock.
My head hurts after attempting to read that.

Wish we had a 1/4 track near me in SoCal (only have a 1/8th track near me) 🙁. Like LSchicago said, air down a bit and work on your launch. 2017 GT PP is a Mt-82 3.73 gears I believe. You should be able to get a better 60' with some practice:thumbsup:

You do realize the r/t has nothing to do with the e.t. You can sit there for 10 seconds after the light turns green and still run a 10 second e.t.

I realize that.but then you'll lose by 10 seconds.if your off .4 secs later than your rival,you'll pay for it at the end,

He isn't worried about winning or losing at this point, just the e.t..

OP if you had a more drag friendly wheel and tire combo then you'll be faster, but 20" wheels are not helping. You can try lowering the air press but I doubt it will help, maybe a few hundredths.

Try traction control off, lower rear pressure (I only tried 22 on my 19 A10, dropped a tenth) and play with launch RPM. You should get 12's next time out.
