I was not a big fan of the Black Appearance Package!

Me too. I have always had this hatred of black with automobiles. Probably going back to the olden days when black signaled that the vehicle was the basic, worthless, stripped down, bottom rung model, and the owner was a cheapskate.

And now people pay a premium for black trim and wheels to not look like an old, decrepit, senior citizen with tacky chrome bits plastered all over their cars!

I agree. I wasn't much on it until I saw a Race Red with the package.

I like it but I hate black wheels because the tires always look nasty unless you shine them every 15 minutes.

I wasn't a fan of the wheels on the 2018 package until I saw them in person, there is a lot more "depth" to it that just isn't caught in the pictures.

Very true. I didn't like the pictures, but in person they are much better.

I love the black accent package with Oxford White. Last night at the drag strip, another owner with similar tastes parked beside me! Mine is the one with the hood open. By the way, the all season Pirellis that come with the accent package are junk for drag racing!

I wish they'd break it up in to 2 parts:

Black logos & wheels - horse, 5.0, rear deck lid & wheels.

Black roof - so you can order this on other cars, like a Performance Package car

+1 The way some of the packages are offered/locked out is pretty irritating.

Our '17 did not have the package, but I changed some of the emblems because I thought chrome on Grabber Blue looked stupid. I like the way the roof looks blacked out, but here in the AZ sun I decided to pass on that.

When they had the black accent out on the 15+ I think the 16/17 GT CS had some nice black out features that could have been on the black accent package. the black mirrors and black hood vents?
