Appearently me and my car are a perfect match also. My car weighed 4010 with my 260 pounds in the driver seat.

Thanks, and that should be fairly easy. A lot of heavy parts on these cars that can be replaced with lighter components.

Yup, and coming from an 01 GT, this car feels really well balanced. And having 215K less miles I bet helps the feel.

Weighed my 15 GT premium 400a manual with half a tank, it came to 3900. I was standing outside the car on the scale so not sure if that affected it. Is that right or should I stand outside the the scale next time? I weigh 173.

Yes that would affect it. Unless you wanted to know the weight with driver (typical for racing), get off the scale.

I think that's for the base GT, without the PP - a stripper -- the performance pack adds a little -- but not much -- the calipers weigh less, but the rotors weigh more -- there's an increase in componentry (k-brace, strut tower brace, and so on...), so it makes sense -- check this thread -- lots of great information:

Wow i thought the s550 was heavier than that, thats not much more than s197?!

The S550 is deceptive. The brides '18 550 feels like a bigger/heavier car than my '06 197, and I wouldn't had thought it any different if I hadn't read the specs.

3680 sounds right then. Figure 25 lbs of things accidentally left off during factory assembly. ;)

2015 GT PP weighed in at 3600 flat This is on a scale at local dump that weighs trash loads in and out for rate pays. (=/- 20 lbs)
Car has everything I can deal with for reduction, i.e., Baer Eradspeed rotors, MRR 19/11 square, 305 Michelin 4s, suspen mods, coil overs, tubular anti sways, QA1 DS, rear seat delete, lightened fly W, 12 gal gas, even have titanium wheel nuts. Still seems 500 lbs too heavy. Well what the heck!
