I seen this piece on my driver side floor mat, but don't know what it is or where it came from, I need help identifying it.

That goes on your hood release handle. Make sure to line up the little tab in the slot.

Same here. Found it on the driver's side floor a few weeks ago. Engine hasn't fallen out yet!

I have seen similar parts in other cars that were a bumper for the gas pedal when fully depressed. Look to see if you have a bare bolt head behind your gas pedal? Or maybe it’s part of the plastic brake assembly!

Thanks man. That was it . Problem is I think it's gonna fallout again in the future because it feels loose.

It’s a 1/4 turn fastener, have you locked it on ?

If it doesn’t lock on when you turn it, I would suggest you’ve not found the correct home for it yet (or one of the mating parts is broken) :like:

Looks like a seat belt clip....stops it retracting too far

ok it took me a min to find it but look at carpet behind gas petal it holds it to firewall
I touched it and it fell out
