Iā€™m a,ways interested in hearing comparisons with the C7Z as that car was on my very short list with the GT350.

There really isnā€™t a comparison to the C7Z.

Completely different cars.

The horsepower and torque difference is substantial and noticeable, as is the handling because of the lower center of gravity and the fact that the C7Z is a purpose built sports car from the get go.

The Shelby is a tweaked Pony car, which, for me, is a better daily driver. It is much roomier inside, the ride quality is great, more than enough power for the street and track, great handling, and better exhaust note.

Both cars have the same level of quality issues. Panel fitment, paint issues, etc... The Vette, in 3LZ trim, has a higher quality interior.

My only major gripe with the GT350 is that the upgrades available on a regular GT Premium arenā€™t available on the top level Shelby. Things like the sound system, newer safety aids, upgraded materials, etc..
