I scored a set of bespoke GT500 FP 315 rears for $375. Since I have a brand new front that came with one of the CF wheels I bought, now all I need is 1 more front. Gotta love ebay at times......

measured 5/32" ! According to tire rack, new spec is 5.5/32"

Do you have a full extra set of CFTP wheels yet Tom?
3 fronts and 1 rear. Ill use one of the rears that came with the car until I score another rear wheel. Ill PPF the crap out of it.

The rears of the 4s only have foam, the fronts do not. That’s why if you buy the tires associated to the Shelby it’s like $20 more than a regular non foamed one. Haven’t noticed much noise difference between the two.

Tom, do you only run the oem tires? I switched to f1 3r’s and they are so much stickier.

I 100% agree with Billy. I love how you are keeping these cars 100% stock with how they were meant to be designed. I wish i had that will power lol.
The fact of the matter is I get the performance out of them for the acceptable life that they comfortably offer. At the track I frequent, I'm seeing the car hit the speed limiter each lap. At the end of 3 days, those tires are fine for the street, but i don't tempt fate and run a car that hard and that fast on tires that have seen a better day.

So no matter what tire I am using, I wouldnt want to go past a 3 day weekend for that kind of driving.

I have another Daytona coming up on Aug 6th. I have one track day on the tires that are on the CF wheels. I'm ok with using them again but I will probably retire that set after that.
