anyone know for a GT350R if i go 20" wheels what the best wheel size + offsets + tire size? i was thinking 20x11 (fronts ET22) and 20x11 (rears ET48). maybe 305/30/20 all around? dont wanna screw this up so any input thx. sorry OP for derailing here! if you have answers to my questions maybe PM me instead of letting me hijack lol...

note: i want it clean, aggressive and similar to the OEM R set up poke. i dont want OP's current situation with discount tire LOL

Have you called the Shelby Museum and spoken to their wheel specialist ? They are really informative.

Hate to say it but those wheels/tires are wrong for the car in all respects. Size, offset, sidewall, wheel pattern (imo) all downgrade the look compared to the stock setup. Not to mention how the handling and performance of the car will be affected......
Discount should take them back; they're obviously not even usable.

The rears are being replaced n/c. Seems TSW sent the wrong offset. New ones come in tomorrow.

Which, is your opinion. However, as it's my car and my money, I'll damn well do as I please. :)

They are fixing the problem. It will look a whole lot better with the correct offset wheels on the back. Then the tires will not stick out.

Sorry to hear about the wheel troubles brother. The GT350 is a very specifically built car. You can’t just throw off the shelf wheels at it. Those guys are playing a guessing game with your car.

I will tell you that from a performance standpoint the tire sizing on your car is all wrong. You will have more negative effects with increased body roll, a higher chance for understeer, and likely rubbing.

None of this is said to make you feel bad about your purchase, but only to protect your investment. I have been guinea pig for many an item on my own cars, but in this scenario they just do not know what they are doing. I would get your money back and move on.

Mikey, man...you don't take "constructive" criticism too well. I know, I know your parents said. My parents told me to put something on a billboard and not expect people to make opinions is not going to happen....no internet back then :) You didn't ask my opinion, so I won't give it...but I have done lots of research and trial and error on proper tire fitments on multiple cars. I've learned not to become so emotionally involved that I will be determined to make something work, regardless of if is supposed to work or not. I'm not saying this is your case though.

There has not been a single comment made in malice about your choice of wheels and tires.

The fact they mounted those tires on those wheels, makes me wonder about your particular Discount Tire. Now if they were delivered from TSW already mounted, that would be another story. They should have checked the offset of the wheels before mounting and then told you....oooh ooooh, the wrong wheels shipped.

I haven't said anything negative about your purchase :like:

I think I'm speechless that they not only put those on the car, but that they actually bolted them down and drove it out of the bay. OH MY!

Didn't mean to offend bud.. just thought Id say the obvious that everyone was thinking. Im all about "to each their own".. but how can you not look at those pics and not see that those wheels/tires look ridiculous on your car?? Im not talking about the wheel style, but the sizing and backspacing is not even close.
