223 whp means 25% drivetrain loss, 30% if you believe the 317 hp number in the brochure .... ouch?
I am also a bit disappointed I was expecting something like 260whp. The guy told me that if we are within 10% of what the brochure says, we are fine. The calculated BHP is 298, that is about 7% less that it should be I guess.
I would be happier if it was 7% more, I had 100octane fuel in the tank, but that's life.

I would be really curious to see some other EU car dyno'd.

Maha dyno, uses two contact patches, hence the wheel figures are always miles out. What makes maha dyno good is they accurately measure flywheel/crank power by measuring coastdown/drag losses with the rollers.

So if you want wheel figures, use a different dyno and then the operator will just make some numbers up to give you a flywheel figure.

Google maha dyno, too much to explain when it is all on google. :)
Thanks! That makes perfect sense. The calculated BHP is in tolerance I would say.

Get back there when you have 15 000 km on the meter, it will probably loosen up some power.
And try to log the boost, I still think that a larger intercooler will be like steroids for the Ecoboost, it will be a Powerboost!
Can you see the inlet air temp in the display?

Doesn't the EB in Europe already have a bigger intercooler?

A bigger radiator. The PP one from the US. The base EB prolly has a smaller one.
