You guys are all pu$$ies. All I’d have to do is give it a hard look. And it would fall right off.
Can't compete with that. Although I take it your avatar photo was taken just after you forgot about this power one morning and looked in the mirror? Momentary lapses in concentration can be costly.

I like to use mind control on those too.
I wish it would work on the red squirrels leaving piles of walnuts under my hood!

There's got to be a story behind that photo...
Winter foster home for squirrels and a small family of wrens.
my guess is it's staged

Update on OP: I decided to err on the side of caution and dropped a couple pounds of thermite on it. Mechanic says the collateral damage should buff right out

Hilarious! I don't think DrewGamer's gotten a serious answer yet! Mud Dauber nest, a rarely aggressive wasp, almost never stings. They're all over North Texas.

More than likely larvae on inside are dead due to heat coming off radiator. Break off the bulk of the nest with your fingers or light tap from back of screw driver or something similar. Then soak it with water and scrub the mud out of the fins with soft bristled brush. Once loosened, any residual mud can be washed off with a hose.

I eliminated a similar problem on my MGB/GT (parked for twenty years) by installing a family of opossums. Symbiosis was near-instant. Bonus: Opossums eat their weight in ticks, daily. Explains why there are very few ticks in my part of the country. (Left Coast, down low)

I had a baby raccoon take a nap under my hood and take a shit in the radiator fans.
The amount of flies buzzing that crap was like the Amityville Horror.

Hose and a bottle of simple green took care of it.
