actually some magazine (hotrod?) did a test with 5 different intakes a few years ago (circa 2018) where they tested all this in some detail. I don't recall which gen F150 intake they were testing but it might have been a '17.
Correct, but it wasn't a Gen3 truck intake. Big difference.

Like the OP, I see it as a win on the street. I don't need to rev beyond 7500 on the street, but any improvement in bottom end and middle would be welcomed. I'd like to see some track tests.

SO just to make sure I'm reading this correctly, in addition to increasing torque and improving mid-range power, it is cheaper than an +18 Mustang mani?

Need to be revved out to the limit like the Voodoo.
I can't imagine anyone complaining about Voodoo power delivery below 6500 RPM at any rational level of effort. The Bullitt has the same intake/TB setup and I didn't feel like I was driving a gasping 4-banger.

The OP has a NA 6r80 car. The trans will hit its shift points as programmed based on input. Car will quicker with a gear.

I found a dyno sheet of a 18 GT manifold VS a 18 truck manifold. I am surprised at the result.

18 GT manifold 5500 to 7000 RPM AVG HP =432.5
18 Truck manifold 5500 to 7000 RPM AVG HP = 430

On what car/ truck? Im guessing that was tested on a 15-17 gt?

I've met GT350 owners who said otherwise. The motor is designed to be revved out. If your butt-dyno wants to feel a truckload of low end torque, the experience won't be satisfying.
Yeah, during my one and only drive in a GT350, I thought it was a gutless turd until it came on way up top....

That looks like VMP's intake test, It was done on a 2017 Gen2 ..

Great.
In the real world the 18+ GT manifold will rape the truck manifold. Plain & simple.
IF you want low end torque get a TVS blower. You'll have plenty.
This is my opinion as well, get a Whipple, but I'm still leaning toward the 18+ mani GT instead of going w/the 18+ truck mani.

I love it when people try make a coyote act like an LT rofl.
That was a time when I felt like making more torque w/the Coyote was the way to go, not being critical of others who subscribe to that way, but I decided to just go with the flo (no pun intended) and focus making more RPM (power) up top (and remove weight). Just my .02.
