They have been telling everyone here and I am sure who ordered; 6-8 months for a M1. Two months is nothing.
For a VIN? Really? Wow. It took 5 months to get the M1 last year, but I still got the VIN in a few days. I am starting to wonder if I will get the car this year.

The dealer I went to said 4 to 6 months--which I take to mean the minimum will be 6 months, especially because eruption green is "late availability." I think it still could take a year or more.

That's the color I ordered as well. Great minds think alike!

I feel bad for the dealerships. They have no inventory. If the Factories aren’t producing enough cars to keep up with demand how can they show positive earnings to their shareholders and keep investors happy... they can’t. It’s unsustainable. All this in just under two years with this incompetent corrupt government.

I have only been waiting since January but am starting to get a bit discouraged at this point myself. I have been talking with a Chevy dealer and am going to be ordering a Camaro just in case my Mach I order gets cancelled. Wondering which one will be built first.
I can just about guarantee Camaro‘s are slower (though less orders because they suck)

The VIN comes when you get a production date. Not when you place an order. That will be months from the order.

that's not what happened last year. I got a VIN from Ford within a week. Then nothing for several months. Then a production date, then they changed it several times, then they gave a delivery date, then they changed that twice.

Definitely not the way it works now. Get VIN and production week once it’s scheduled. Then date gets refined as it gets closer.

I just got another update and they pushed my Mach1 HP build week out again. There are a lot of Mach1s on dealer lots but I have yet to find a FJG fully loaded HP like I have on order. Secondly every dealer is offering them with a ridiculous Market Adjustment increase. It’s true Z06s will sell for MSRP per Chevy. Ford should do the same with the Mach1. and GT500.
Per Chevy? Lmao, they can't do a thing to dealers except kill their allocation.

I doubt any Chevy dealers would risk losing their corvette allocations to make a quick buck.

you dont think chevy dealers are planning on bending over every potential zo6 customer they have?

"dealers are the interface with the customers,........we leave that side of the business to our great dealer partners"
"it's supply and demand. We supply them, the dealers meet the demand"

as in, you're not getting a '23 zo6 for msrp and if you think chevy is coming to your rescue, might want to keep that mach 1 order alive a little longer

But like the excerpt states, it’s all on the dealer. If I were to order a Z06, it would be from a dealership not charging an ADM. I tried 4 dealerships in my area for a Mach 1, and 2 were charging ADMs, and 1 didn’t want to place an order (they had a non-HP M1 in route and wanted to sell it to me). Some dealers are shady, and some are by the book.
