My BIL wanted a Vette, went to the dealer found one on the lot. Since he was not a previous Vette owner they added an additional 10K to the price, he walked.

I'll bet if you are not a previous owner that ZO6 order will vanish.

I’m on waitlist for C8 Z06 but if i do get it, might take 3yrs. That’s why I ordered Mach 1, but now that looks it may not happen either……

talking with a Chevy dealer and am going to be ordering a Camaro just in case my Mach I order gets cancelled. Wondering which one will be built first.
chevy. but for the money probably should just buy a Blackwing.

I just got another update and they pushed my Mach1 HP build week out again. There are a lot of Mach1s on dealer lots but I have yet to find a FJG fully loaded HP like I have on order. Secondly every dealer is offering them with a ridiculous Market Adjustment increase. It’s true Z06s will sell for MSRP per Chevy. Ford should do the same with the Mach1. and GT500.
Are you planning on tracking the car, or is the HP for aesthetics?

Most of the parts for the HP can be ordered from Ford Performance, and the rumor is they are planning on eventually selling an entire kit.

For day to day driving, you are honestly much better off without the HP, as the cup2s tramline like crazy, scratch up the sides of the car with gravel and shit, and the lower front splitter just has to hit everything....

So apparently you guys are not aware that chevy has stated that the 2023 Z06 will not go into production. Any down payments that were given from consumers to secure their order were refunded. The only 2023 Z06 1 of 1 that I know of was the one that sold on Barrett Jackson for a charity event for some ridiculous price. Think it was a couple million.

Honestly I'm not even following it because I can't afford the car even AT MSRP, much less whatever ADM most dealers are going to add.

Maybe in 5-10 years I'll be lucky enough to find a moderately used one at a reasonable price, or not. I might just shoot for a C7 Z06 and enjoy the 6 speed

I've got a 19 z06 but it's an auto. I've driven the 6 speed and I wasn't really impressed. Great car and pretty quick out of the factory but they are still very expensive. Bought mine right after Xmas of 21 and it was like 78k if I remember.

The key phrase there is 'right after Xmas of 21'. Everything used has been magical money since the end of 2020; I bought my Mach new because everything used makes no sense. I think in 2 more years max this will not be the case, and it will be similar to 2019 pricing

irrelevant. they're starting poduction shortly and labelling them 2024's. BFD. Now why they are playing games on model year designation I don't know - it's rather stupid - same as building cars in Oct 2018-Dec and calling them MY19...

Isn't going to be a longer wait for the '23 Z06 than for the Mach 1? The Z06 doesn't start getting built in a couple of months, if I recall correctly? Then, who knows what happens with delays on parts/microchips bullshit on that car.

What a beast that Z06 car is though. Hot damnnnn. Looks and sounds killer.

Chevy dealer told me Z06 production starts late May early June which is the same timeframe GM releases pricing. Serval dealers did say base starts at $87k. No deposit required and they will sell the Z06 at MSRP per GM. I’m thinking so for around a highly optioned GT500 I can get a Z06. The recent email update I got from Ford pushed my build week out yet again. I’m just really frustrated with Ford.

I ordered my '22 M1 about 2 months ago. No VIN yet. In Jan '21 I ordered a '21 M1 and got the VIN in 3 days. Zach at Granger says he has no idea when the VIN will be available. The dealerships are hurting bad, I think with no inventory to sell. I am getting close to just canceling the order.

All these companies are having chip issues. To make the chips they need neon and the Ukraine produces most of the world's supply. So, who knows?

Guys I’m so frustrated with all the delays at Flat Rock. I reached out to an out of state Chevy dealer who is accepting orders for the new 2023 Z06 and will be selling them at MSRP. He told me he expects Chevy to release pricing around beginning of June. He has me on the list so I’m cancelling my Mach1 HP order. I figure I have a better chance getting the new Z06 than the Mach1HP at this point. I wish all who have Mach1 HPs on order get theirs.
Enjoy!

They have been telling everyone here and I am sure who ordered; 6-8 months for a M1. Two months is nothing.
