So I apologize in advance, I tried a search but nothing came up......

Anyway, I am looking to purchase a set of tires for my second set of wheels on my (coming soon) HEP R.

I am going to use the stock CF wheels and tires for the track and I am buying a second set of wheel and tires for the street.

Any advice on which tires work/fit/perform at least 1/2 as well as the OEM?

Thank you!

What would you like your second set to do? You already got the best tires for the track. I assume your second set would be for all year long but probably not for the winter (boston) so something between spring through the fall. I'd say
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
only because they handle great and you don't need something overly aggressive since you already have the most aggressive tires for the track that grips like an F1 race car.

Pro Tip:
I'd recommend wrapping it on Signature Wheels, they are 20/23 lbs and I think worth the $$$. Otherwise, you can easily find a non-r wheel (30ishlbs) set to wrap the 4S tires for about a grand.

agree on 4s or even the super sports. great street tires that actually do decent on track too so you can take them to track as backup if the cup2's cord out too.

I just use another set of Sport Cup 2s. They give you the same performance that you are accustomed to.

I'll add that for those who are DD their cars, that option may not be the best. My performance vehicles are not for DD purposes.
