Guys,

After giving up my 2018 EB PP in October and a brief stint in an Electric Hyundai Hatchback I am back!

Still have all EB aftermarket parts in my garage (All CP-e stuff) so if anyone wants anything ping me, I never did get the part out thing right.

Yesterday I traded that little blue thingy in, and got a Shadow Black fully loaded GT Premium w/PP2.

This brings my mustang count to #6 lol.

It feels good to be back, now I gotta figure out the GT Aftermarket parts thing.

This is amazing and super helpfull, thanks a lot. II think this one Ill actually keep for a good bit seeing the potential for the platform (and 0apr deal I got, lol).

If I understood that GTs have the capability to reach 1000 hp I'd still probably be driving my ruby red pp with leather reacros that I had in 2015.

Although come to think of it, it had sync2 lol I wouldve upgraded anyway

Congrats with the PP2!

Were you able to get a good deal with all the Ford incentives going on?

Congratulations on the PP2. Is it a 2019 or 20?

Nice upgrade. Regarding the tune...I wouldn't bother until you have to do it due to other supporting mods. A regular gasoline tune will pick up less than 1 mph and less than a tenth in the 1/4 mile. The gains are negligible. And for what? The Lethal Lund E85 tuned GT appears to have picked up 3 mph and half second in e.t., but notice the lower density altitude and much quicker 60' time of the E85 tuned run, both of which make a big difference. I appreciate they put the DA and 60' time on the table, so you can correct to make an apples to apples comparison.

In this case, corrected times and trap speed would be:
Stock w/ 19" drag radials: 11.93 @ 118.7 mph (1.99 60')
E85 tune w/ 19" drag radials: 11.59 @ 119.9 (1.77 60')

+1.2 mph difference isn't that fantastic IMO. Most of the e.t. improvement (0.34 seconds) is in the 60' time (1.99 vs 1.77 sec.). The mph tells the bigger story. Even with an E85 tune on an otherwise stock car, the trap speed gains are fairly minimal.

You can see a big gain (136 vs 144 mph) later on with Whipple's 93 octane tune vs. the Lund E85 tune once there is a huge supercharger strapped to the beast. At that point, yeah, the E85 tune is clearly worth it.

Anyway, it's your money and potential warranty denial if something goes wrong (contentious topic on this site), but don't expect big gains by simply adding an E85 tune to an otherwise stock car.
