We are working closely with Southeast CarbonWorks to get these new hydro-dipped carbon fiber replacement parts out to 2015 owners. Yesterday we test fitted our GT with some of the parts, some are still not available. We can also hydro-dip any of your factory parts that you may like.

The nice thing about this process is that it uses OEM parts so fitment is never an issue; The processes used on the parts below go far and beyond to ensure that the look is as close to carbon/kevlar as possible, including depth, which is usually lacking when cheap materials are used or steps are skipped. I do agree that this process can very easily look ricerish if done improperly, the same thing can be said about real carbon fiber. The very good looking and fitting carbon fiber/kevlar is extremely high dollar. Being in the business for over 20 years we know and love real carbon fiber. We also realize that for the majority, a real carbon piece is out of budget and mostly unnecessary to the general public. This is an alternative for those who want the carbon look.

Check out some pics of our GT. Let us know what you think. Where ever you see the Yellow we can do your body color to match at no extra cost.

We were examining that yesterday and yes it appears it can be done. The area around the tailights is a bezel.

Rename it something else besides CF and bet it's easier to swallow. I wouldn't do it but some people just like the look of it, without pretending to be something it's not.

I like it. Would we get the price (or a rebate of somekind) if you send us the OEM part and then we send back the factory one?

Looks great! Got anything other than carbon look. How's the durability on that?

Not a fan of pseudo-carbon, but...
How durable is this coating? Could a satin or brushed aluminum finish be applied to the chrome bits in the cockpit?

Thats a tough situation, because we would not be able to account for the condition of the part we are receiving back, which would then turn into more labor to get it fixed if need be. Then it turns into a pissing contest with a customer.

Yes there are tons of different patterns including skulls, and wood grain, or marble. Durability is great as long as you don't gouge at it. It will handle the heat no problem we have a few gt500s that have had it on for two years.

What about chemicals? Brake cleaner, oil, antifreeze, etc.

Can it be clear coated?

A cover is currently being made that will then be hydro-dipped.

It already is clear coated. Oil and Anti-Freeze are no big problem if cleaned up soon enough, brake cleaner will eat through anything you put it on, so cleared or not brake clean will ruin anything.
