... and you never know, Ford may have a plan for an even higher performing GT500 to compete with the C8Z... like a GT500R.

I'd be all in for that as a Ford fanboy but at some point they're going to have to follow GM into a mid engine platform imo to keep up on the track....as a S197 and S550 owner the backseat of my cars are as useless as tits on a bull anyway...lol may as well figure out a way to shove a Predator or twin turbo up Voodoo back there....

I've wanted them to make an "affordable" Ford GT ever since they did the first one. They could do it. That might just be their plan for the 7th gen GT500 or 3rd gen GT.
