It's all in good fun my guy, I'm not making fun of your typo. It's just an amusing concept to imagine one of these cars doing that many miles.
Hold my beer....

Trying to see if I got a good one...zero oil consumption in my 21 GT with 24k miles. Oil changed at 5k intervals, never had to add a drop. I'm getting the car bug and want to weigh my options of trading or boosting. Is it normal to have no oil consumption or is my engine on the rare side?

I do add Cera Tec Liquid Moly for the bbq tick, but that's the only thing not OEM besides an H-pipe.
I remember when I owned a 1990 LX 5.0 coupe, it consumed 1 quart of oil every 2k miles from new. I'm glad these newer engines don't do that

Mine burns a quart of oil every 2000 miles. Not driven hard or anything. It used to burn half a quart every 2000 miles but consumption has went up over time. Car is touching 70k miles in almost 7 years of ownership.

Do you guys change your own oil? Does "doesn't use a drop" mean you get 10 quarts back out again? I've done 5 oil changes ranging from 4k to 8k miles over the years and I pretty consistently get 1.5 5-quart jugs back out of a 2-jug fill a year later (I've been super consistent at 100% oil life per computer in early November, just changed last weekend). What's that - a quart per 4k miles or so?

The people that say it doesn't burn a drop really mean its minor. Impossible for ICE engine to use 0 oil. They probably also look at the dipstick, its not the most accurate way to get a measurement. Its an estimate really.

Here is an easier way. Fill to 10 quarts (half way between dipstick for mine when full). Check oil periodically and If by the next time you change oil you don't need to add oil then you are within the 1 quart per oil change. If you keep having to add like 2 or more quarts during that period (recommended interval) then you may have an oil burning or leaking issue. People just overcomplicate things.

She is burning more than usual but let me ask you this. Do you fill it all the way to the top hole on the dipstick? Just saying because you may be adding extra half quart. For my M1 10 qts only comes up to the middle of the two holes. If that is the case then you are really burning 1 quart every 4000 miles which is a little better.

I put in 10 qts and like you said it is in the middle of the two dots. Then I fill with half quart when it reaches the bottom half of the hash marks on the dip stick. This last oil change was in first week of July and the car had 67,240 miles on it. As of today I am at 69,580 and have added half a quart twice to bring it up to a little over the middle of the dip stick. It use to burn half a quart over 5000 miles on average but in the last few months has become worse. Not sure why this is happening. I stay on top of maintenance (PCV valves, Air filter, etc etc) been using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-30 with FL500s filter for the life of the car. I bought the car brand-new and changed oil for the first time around 3,200 miles. I think the reason it burns oil is because it was not broken in properly.

I have to be honest, if you find checking the oil with the dipstick a confusing or complicated process maybe have a professional check it for you. If you park in the same spot every night and check it in the morning before you start it for the first time of the day there should be no confusion as to whether there is as much oil in the pan as there was the last time you checked it.
