Long story short, the apartment I'm renting has a shitty garage that I park my car in. For some reason part of the wooden roof broke off and landed on my car causing damage. I'm thinking I'll need the following work done:

  • Professional Painless Dent Removal
  • Professional detailing of the affected area to remove scuffs
  • Re-apply ceramic coating to the affected area

I don't think it needs repainted. Any suggestions on the order to get this done? Buff, PDR, ceramic?

If it were me, I’d contact the building owner and ask them to cover the cost of repairs. Usually in most States, if you are a renter (condo, apartment, etc), the owner of the property is responsible for upkeep, repairs and safety of exterior/interior of those structures.

He/she should have proper insurance to cover for such accidental events.

What if you were in that same garage and that piece of wood fell onto your head?

As for repair, yes you’re absolutely correct in how the hood needs to be repaired.
