How to tell if a non specific shift knob works on the S550

Basically I want a Blox 490 spherical. There is no way to tell if it works with the reverse collar, are there any design cues that would let me know, or is it a guess.

I'd ordered a MGW knob, but they emailed me asking if I had their shifter, which it only works on. That was a no go. So, here I am.

Doesn't look like it will work based on the picture and the 2015+ Mustang missing from the description. The base of the knob needs to be counterbored to fit the reverse collar. If you call and find out that they cannot do it then look into this

Cost a bit more money but is available for our cars. Never used it but it is the heaviest knob I've seen besides the one you posted.
