OP’s not crying. He’s in a position worse than we were in during the Spring. He bought the car three years ago before any of the crap started. Have a heart.
Never… don’t buy the big engine car. Or buy a cheap beater for daily. Same with people that buy luxury/high performance car and then complain about having to use premium gas

I get about 19-20MPG, mostly mixed driving. I just shift around 2200rpm, don't get heavy on the gas, and usually keep it in comfort/quiet mode to keep myself from wanting to use the loud pedal. Really I could probably get a LITTLE better MPG if I went to a different tire. But having 480HP and getting 3-4MPG better than my 305HP v8 did back in 2003 doesn't really have me complaining any. I just wish Ford made the tank a little bigger since then.

Too bad it isn’t like the old days when you can just take off the 4 Barrel carb, put on a spacer and replace it with a 2 Barrel.

Neither is my boxer H4 and the fucker drinks gas worst than my V8 drinking E85
My buddy has a 19 sti. He gets pissed when he rides with me and sees my 19 gt premium get 21 mix and he's seen it reach 25 hwy. Best he can manage is 18 mixed but usually sees 14-15mpg.

Put it in snow/wet mode. More advantage on an auto car, as it changes the gear shifting logic, but it still adjusts the throttle response on a manual so using less gas pedal is easier.

i get about 40 miles per 1/4 tank lol… my wife’s 2020 wrx gets like 27 mpg highway, about 24.5 mpg combined. The new engines in the wrx are much better than the old ones… sti’s still had the old engines…

Be glad you have a speed limit on the highway / motorway. 🙈
My Autobahn consumption is sometimes higher than the one in the city at stop&go... 😂

On average over 3000 mi, however, I am currently at 19.6 mpg.
On country roads on my way to work, I even get ~26 mpg.
I can live with that.
