Glad to be done ! Thanks especially to Justin, ChemEng44, I doubt I would have come up with this great looking blended rock guard that looks great and will provide as much paint protection as possible with the Mach 1 Handling package.

Now onto more track day improvements -

I'm interested in this mod , but I just installed my wheel lip moldings and
at this point I think I will just let my rear quarters take a sandblasting and
worry about it later .... I don't want to unpeel my moldings and ruin my thumbs
getting the tape off .

I believe this is the way Ford wanted it to be , or they would have provided
front flaps from the factory .

That is hilarious that you say that. Ford does not care about us or the condition of vehicles after they leave the factory. Ford rarely thinks things through completely, and if they sell a million cars but can save $1 per car, that's a million dollars. Imagine if they save $100 per car. But yeah, it's not that bad to peel the tape off.

It was meant as a joke , I work for Ford and agree 100% they will do anything to save a dollar ...
I'm glad someone picked up on it and hopefully made you smile ...

I was waiting for this 😂 Was seriously hopeful you were making a joke. But not as a joke, these fender flares over-top of the GT500 skirts adds "just enough sass to save your ass" and yeah I just thought of that this moment.

Hey NJMike, good decision. Make sure you get some of those 3M adhesive promotor packets. Justin refers to them up at the top of the thread. Post #9.

It's not worth saving $11.00 if the tape lets go in a couple of months. Not sure what 3M put in that stuff but I highly recommend using it. Easy to apply a thin film with the wipes provided, wait 60 to 90 seconds and then you're good to go.
Justin's detailed instructions are excellent, just follow his lead.

It’s essentially a few different solvents and polymer type epoxies (safe for automotive finishes) it does have trace amounts of BPA so wear gloves and practice safe handling procedures.👍👍

@ChemEng44 did I put these together correctly? The pre-installed 3M is towards the wheel the way I have it. From pics on page 1, it doesnt look like I got it right.
Do we use 3M on both sides? Part to stick to the inner wheel well/fender and the other to the wheel lip molding?
