I recently got a steering wheel off OHC motors from China, but similar to other wheels on the market that are reselling them. However, the instructions were less than stellar so I wanted to clarify them some.

You can watch this video to see how to install a steering wheel:

You should be able to figure out how to take apart the original steering wheel and swap over the components into the new wheel.

For the display on the steering wheel it needs +12v (red wire) and Ground (Black wire). The Data signal is transmitted wirelessly from the included box that plugs into the OBD2 port.

For Ground I exposed a small section of the existing wire to my gauge buttons and soldered the OHC black wire to it and taped it with electrical tape.

The problem , there is no +12V that turns off with the Ignition in the steering wheel. So you must pass it through the clockspring from the OBD box.

Below are the instructions that they sent over with some clarification.

Picture 1 - Original Steering wheel plug (before wire added)
Picture 2 - Red +12V power wire (not shown) from steering wheel that I soldered to half of included green wire with pin attached (Drawn in from the bottom) and plugged into pin 2
Picture 3 - Included white wire from OBD Connector soldered to other half of included green wire with pin attached and plugged into pin 2 on plug below steering column clock spring going out to steering wheel.

Some other helpful tips:
1) Pass the gauge wire behind the metal here or it will get in the way of the switches

2) Don't forget to swap over the steering wheel weight from your factory wheel, it goes in the yellow highlighted area (I forgot the first time)

3) To change the Boot logo of the steering wheel Go into the options of the steering wheel to the "Version Information" section (where it shows the OBD and SW Version numbers) and hold the right and left buttons at the same time. It will ask for a password. The password is 1234. There you can change the boot-up logo (I used Mustang)

The result is amazing!

Thank you for the write up. I avoided this wheel because wasn’t sure how to wire it. This should help anyone interested. Pretty pricey though compared to the regular CF wheel. I like the led lights on both sides but not a fan of the little screen.

Hit me up for the best price on them. I don't make anything off it but will tell you where I got it from and what I paid. And trust me it's WAY less than everywhere else.

They told me I cannot due to different prices based on countries and options. But if you PM me I can give you the contact. I bought it through a reseller for OHC on facebook. It was a bit sketchy, but used Paypal to protect myself but everything worked out really well and I would recommend them (but still suggest paying with Paypal)

Love those mats. Where did you find a discount? Did you buy front and rear set? How do the clips work in the Mustang?

Can't decide if the black with blue stitching or the marine blue would look better in my car.
I heard they last a couple years but I would think longer if they don't get wet.

That is because there is no 12V that turns on with start in the wheel harness at all. You have to pass it through the connector, so you pin the red wire and plug in into an empty slot on the plug. Specifically the empty spot described here so it connects to the other wire you pin to the opposite plug that it gets its power from.

Hey I encountered an issue and cant seem to find an answer.. Regarding the wiring. Mine is different (please see attached photo).

So I was about to put in the white wire beside the purple wire, but the 2 slots beside it is used for some reason. My car isnt modified and I do not have heated steering too.

My car is a 2019 Mustang GT base.
