I have a GT PP, and I''ve been looking at some lowering springs, particularly the Eibach Pro Kit, Steeda springs, and Ford Racing springs. All are about a 1" drop (Eibach says 1.1" in the front, which I like, as the front could stand to be lowered a bit more than the rear, IMO), which is about what I'm looking for. My question is how do you choose? It's difficult to find all the spring rates, and even then, I'm not sure how they compare to the stock PP springs. I definitely don't want anything softer. The only real discernible difference I see is that the Ford Racing springs are progressive rate, and even then, I'm not sure what that translates to on the road. Any input is appreciated, and thanks for the help!

Well until someone is able take their car, money and time, and road test all the different spring manufacturers you will have to go by what people post about their own setup and their opinions on them vs stock and just decide for yourself. From what is being written so far, any of them are an improvement over stock. Hopefully some supporting vendor will post a "spring shootout" to give us the answer you and probably a lot of others are looking for.

I can only speak for myself but i went with the Eibach Pro kit and love it. Settled the car just right and definitely improved handling without sacrificing ride comfort. I also decided to go with this kit because i didn't want to slam it(already have an Audi A4 on coilovers that stays slammed). Here's a b4 and after, should give you some idea:

Some say that progressive rate sacrifices some handling over regular lower springs. Not sure if it's true. I'm going with Steeda when I lower my car

Here's mine on Steeda. Probably still has a little settling to do as this was only day 2. Haven't heard anything bad about Eibach or any of the others for that matter. I ordered the Steeda because I liked the reputation (Eibach's is also very good) and the package price with the stabilizer bars. As far as looks I honestly can't see a discernable difference.

LOL, I can't discern anything either with that picture.

First night home, haven't had sun in Indiana for a month and it was late in the day. Best I can do for now. Of course there's a Steeda stance thread and an Eibach thread one could peruse if you're curious about that sort of thing.

We have taken longer than we expected with ours, due to revising them several times. I really wanted to get the height where I feel it is perfection.

The pricing should be in the $250 range - and I really hope to have them available in about 4-6 weeks. (8-10 weeks for the Drag and Handling specific versions)

Hmm, I am just about to start looking into springs and sway bars. Was all set to go with Steeda, now I see BMR come along and they look good too. Not sure if I should wait for their stuff, looks like ecoboost springs are a little way out, or go with steeda?

Love my Steeda springs, swaybars, and G-Trac brace. Handles SO much better and stance is great.

And at home:
