How Often or/Last time you were stopped by police.

I won't include commercial trucks here, but when was the last time you were stopped by police in a personal vehicle? Last time for me (knock on wood) was 21 years ago. I was in my Lightning, just lit up 2 gears IN FRONT of the officer through a busy 6 way intersection in Chicago. Full smoky burnout where he could'nt even see. He chatted a few seconds, then said take it easy. In the mid 90's I got stopped every week when I had a bright blue Iroc for a year or so. Last ticket I received was in 1990. Traveling through Ohio. Speeding (67 in a 55) and no seat belt. 2 weeks after getting the same tickets in a different Ohio county...... Never had a speeding ticket more than 13 over. Things were a bit different in the 80's-90's.

Last time was about 20 years ago and took a corner kinda fast in front of a police car in my C5. He turned around an just checked ID. Haven’t got a ticket since I was 16.

In 2003, I had a red Trans Am and Yellow S2000. I got more tickets in those cars than I can remember. Then I bought a gray Subaru Forester STI and became invisible to cops.

Once in the old Mustang....Several times on my motorcycles....2016 on the MA Pike tired & coming home from the Springfield Mile in IL at night I got popped doing 90....I didn't even realize I was going that fast until I saw the blue lights...$200 later and of course the wife posting pics all over FB

Oddly I got pulled over more when I drove an Escort than I ever do in my Mustang, and I speed a LOT more.

Had that car for 4yrs and got pulled over like 4 times.
WS6 blows past me... I get pulled over in my Escort claiming I was trying to race it....
Minivan blows by me.... somehow I get pulled over for speeding

I've had 2 tickets in my mustangs over 16yrs of ownership, both were for doing 10 over.

Last year during noise tax week. Got a muffler ticket for "Hollywood style muffler" on my mustang. Cop was pretty smug about it, saying he's written hundreds of tickets & I'll never get off. I did. Didn't even have to pay court costs.

Not sure exactly but probably 8-10 year ago. I was on my way to work at 5:00 am and got pulled over for expired registration. It was 6 months overdue so I was expecting a ticket and the officer was nice and told me to make sure to get it taken care of and even asked me if I knew where to go.

The last time I got pulled over was for 76 in a 55 in 2019 in a 2010 Camaro SS. Young 21 year old looking officer with an attitude. I was super tired, empty road at midnight, I wasn't paying attention to my speed. I pulled over, turned the car off, keys on the dash, was polite, I gave him my friends NYPD SBA card with license and registration, whose house I just left, the cop started giving me a lip, "If I didn't have some where to be right now Id give you a ticket, if I ever see you again, blah blah blah." I just couldn't wait to go to bed.

The funny one was 46 in a 30, I just spent a few hours, round trip, picking up a friend at an airport and dropping him off at his house. It was after midnight and I was barely awake, rolling down a hill, the lights pop off behind me, I immediately pull into a gas station. When I pulled my driver's license out my pistol permit for NY & CT, as well as real estate license all blow out my wallet and are in my lap, he looked at me like I had multiple fake ID's and asked, "Uuhhhhh, why do you have NY and CT licenses and other IDs?" I told him if I was carrying that night I would have let him known, but seeing as I wasnt I didnt bring it up that I was licensed in two states, until they all fell out. He was like, "Oh thats cool, you have a great night." Cool cop!

Last time I got stopped was the covid lockdown and got stopped on my way to work and asked if I had an exemption on my phone.
i said no, the exemption was in my bag in the boot, did he want to see it ?
Too much effort involved and he waved me through
