Seeing that a fully loaded Gt is hovering around $54k and the Shelby GT350R in the $68k (if you can get it sticker) range, would it be crazy to say that the Gt 500 will be north of the $70k range.

What do you think? :ford:

My guess, is starting at $74k... up to $90k w/options.

Or at least that would be interesting.

I still say we will be luck if it stays under 90k? Could touch 100k!? All you have to do is look at the Demon. It's in that same range and I figure the GT500 will be more technologically advanced! Which usually means more $$$$.

I figure that they should try to stay close in price to a Camaro ZL1 1LE and Hellcats as they are there direct competitors. But will should see what they do!

No ideal, but the mark ups are going to be INSANE. I have no doubt about that.

True that! this thing probably will probably be over 700hp, so it is not crazy to think that.

That's what I'm thinking. I'm sure that the 350 is a good base to go from. Take the R for example with a MSRP of about 68K. Add all the improvements and the further weight reduction due to the extra weight (for an R variant). That could easily run 20-30K (powertrain, carbon fiber this and that, etc). That puts you at about 90-100K. Subtract sold a paid off HR361 (75ish), and that will leave me with a 30K car payment. My ADM is already negotiated.

This is all speculation of course, I am assuming they are going to build a ZL1/1LE slayer.

They better lol, wondering if they are going to but that 10 spd tranny in as well. That tranny is pulling out some very insane numbers with the 2018 gt's . I mean 11.8-11.9 1/4 of mile, that's aspirated territory right there.
